Service Description

The fundamental factor when it comes to being able to set a nice low action is the consistency of the fret heights - the more variation between the heights of the individual frets and the more you have to bump the string height up to maintain a buzz free action on all frets. While being fundamental it's often an area that gets overlooked, especially at the more budget end where they bang in the frets and hope for the best. This service involves levelling the frets so they are all a consistent height across their width, crowning to put the roundness back to the fret and then polishing them up to a high shine. A set-up will generally be required after the fretwork which is charged at £25. A new set of strings will be required (not included).
